John Spencer
BMS/Chace President and co-founder John Spencer has widespread experience
and visibility both in the music industry and in the fields of archival preservation
and enterprise class information technology. Since 1978, he has been involved in
many facets of high-technology professional audio and video, and was previously
Vice-President of Sales and Marketing for Otari Corp.
John is CEO and ambassador at large for BMS/Chace, preaching the gospel of
structured metadata collection to media companies and institutions worldwide.
His efforts led to a 3-year partnership with the Library of Congress, strategically
focused on metadata best practices for the commercial recording industry.

Marshall Morgan
BMS/Chace Vice-President and co-founder Marshall Morgan is a 25-year
music industry veteran with extensive experience as a recording engineer,
producer, studio owner, publisher, songwriter, and archivist. He has produced or
engineered records for a wide variety of recording artists, including ten Grammy
winning recordings. As a music publisher he owns copyrights representing over
30 million units of sales, and he has written songs for James Taylor, The Dixie
Chicks, Keith Urban, and Waylon Jennings. His recording studio, The Doghouse,
has hosted scores of major artists since 1987. He is expert in past and current
recording technologies.
Marshall oversees operations for all three BMS/Chace offices, including systems
processes, software development, client interaction, and sales and marketing.
He advises many label executives, producers, engineers, and artists seeking
archival and asset management solutions.

John Sarappo
John Sarappo is a 20-year veteran of the pro audio industry. Previous
employment includes roles as Systems Engineer for Rockwell International, a
recording engineer for a Los Angeles based CCM label, Director of Customer
Services for Alesis Studio Electronics, and Product Specialist and Director of
Marketing for Otari Corporation. He is expert in relational database theory and
practice, and has been a Filemaker developer for over 15 years.
John is a founding member of BMS/Chace and wears many hats, his work
including process engineering, project management, and database development
and implementation. He functions as general manager, working closely with all
three BMS/Chace offices to ensure that systems are functioning and that internal
processes remain consistent and efficient.

Thomas Endres
Tom Endres is a twenty-year music industry veteran and an early adopter of
digital music technology in Nashville. A recording engineer and owner of a
commercial mixing and mastering facility, Endres was previoulsy President
of DAM, Inc. specializing in custom software for the audio industry and DAG
LLC providing digital audio data recovery services. With emphasis on open
source technologies (PostgreSQL, Apache, PHP, etc), his fields of expertise
include database design, dynamic web design and deployment, and code level
application development.
Tom is a founding member of BMS/Chace and is engaged in a variety of system
engineering and software design activities. He is responsible for the concept,
coding, and maintenance of BMS/Chace’s core internal software tools and he
serves as a primary investigator of emerging technologies applicable to BMS/
Chace.

Deborah DeLoach
Deborah DeLoach is a 2005 graduate of Middle Tennessee State University
with a B.S. in Recording Industry Production Technology. She is a recording
engineer, a post-production engineer, and a recording artist.
Deborah is the senior archival engineer at BMS/Chace, and as such she
has become our go-to authority on data integrity, work-flow efficiency, and
evolution of internal systems and processes. Her work includes project and
client management in both New York and Nashville. As a liaison with label
A&R administrators she played a vital role in establishing the BMS/Chace New
York office before returning to Nashville headquarters. She has completed the
Verification, metadata generation, asset documentation, and archival migration
for over 250 albums to date.

Austin Lauritsen
Austin Lauritsen is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a B.S.
in Recording Industry Production Technology. He is both a recording engineer
and a session musician in the Nashville area. His areas of expertise include
design, implementation and maintenance of network infrastructures for both
commercial and residential environments, hardware/software implementation
and maintenance on both Mac and Windows workstations and servers, user
interface design/development for web, and other forms of multi-media with focus
on standards based technologies.
Austin’s diverse talents keep him very busy at BMS/Chace, working in web
design and deployment, systems design, and network configuration as well as
asset Verification, analog/digital media migration, metadata generation, and
archive creation.

Jason Weiner
Jason Weiner is a 10 year veteran of the music industry with experience as a
recording engineer, producer, musician, songwriter and archivist.
Jason manages the BMS/Chace Los Angeles offices with a style befitting his
West Coast clientele. He is responsible for all BMS/Chace sales and marketing
in the Los Angeles area, working with the movie industry as well as an expanding
list of music business core clients. His roles include client consultation and
liaison, project management, asset Verification and documentation, analog/digital
media migration, metadata generation, and archive creation.

Chris Marquard
Chris Marquard is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor
of Science in Radio, Televison, and film. He is also a graduate of Full Sail
University with an Associate of Science in Recording Arts. His studies focused
primarily on film and audio post-production, electronic music composition, and
audio engineering. He is also an avid painter, clothing and media designer, and a
student of drums for 10 years.
Chris has rapidly become Jason Weiner’s right hand man on the West Coast. As an
archival engineer his work includes asset Verification and data management, asset
migration, metadata generation, and archive creation and documentation.
Jennifer Loria
Jennifer Loria is a 2009 graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Economics and a 2010 graduate of The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences’ Master Recording Program II. Jennifer is a recording engineer, musician, and archivist.
Jennifer just recently made the move from Intern to Archivist and is happy to officially be a part of the BMS/Chace family. Her duties at BMSC include Verification and migration of media assets, as well as archival production and documentation.

NEW YORK
Robbie Norris
Robbie Norris is a 28-year veteran of New York City commercial studios. Prior to
joining BMSC he spent 19 years at Quad Recording Studios and held positions
ranging from assistant engineer to Operations Manager. Additionally, he was
responsible for tape restoration and transfers and has extensive experience
with all forms of recording from analog tape recorders to many digital systems
including Pro Tools. He has helped to restore Masters and create archives for
many well-known artists including John Lennon and Yoko Ono, Bob Marley, and
Bob Dylan.
At BMSC, Robbie is manager of BMS/Chace New York and his work includes
project management, client liaison, sales and marketing, archival transfers and
digital migration.
Narima Miller
Narima Miller is a graduate of Full Sail University, in Recording Engineering.
Prior to her work with BMS/Chace, she has 5 years experience in recording
engineering, client relations and administrative duties at Quad Recording Studios
NYC.
Narima’s role at BMS/Chace NY includes, media asset Verification, archival
migration and database organization, and project management. She is the
designated liaison with label A&R administrators at one of BMS/Chace New
York’s largest clients.
